This is NOT an active shooter situation at Baylor University. Multiple agencies are on campus in pursuit of robbery suspects. As building checks are underway, the campus is under shelter in place until the all-clear is given.

One suspect has been taken into custody. The identity of the individual is not being released at this time. The lockdown at Baylor University has been lifted, and law enforcement has cleared the area. At this time, there is no indication that any of the suspects were armed. The public is no longer asked to shelter, but should continue to report any suspicious activity.

A serious security threat prompted an emergency alert on Baylor's Waco campus Thursday, urging students, staff, and faculty to take immediate shelter.
