It took many years of my adult life for me to fully appreciate the wonderful creation that is coffee , but now that I have, it’s hard to go a day without it.
If coffee holds a special place in your heart as well, thanks to McDonald’s, there’s a chance you may never have to go a day without it ever again. That’s right, they’re giving away free coffee for life to 10 very lucky and deserving coffee-lovers!
Now through Sept. 29, McDonald’s is asking customers to nominate someone they believe is a “brew-gooder” — someone who has done something good, big or small. Not only will the person nominated have a chance to win free McCafé for life, but the nominator will also win if their nominee does! So the 10 winners of this sweepstakes will be made up of five pairs.
To enter, just submit your nomination via an entry form on the McDonald’s app, online at BeABrewGooder.com or through social media. There is a limit of one entry per day per platform, but you can enter every day until Sept. 29. Entries on Twitter or Instagram must include #BeABrewGooder #Sweepstakes and @McDonalds.
One winning pair will be selected in a random drawing each week for five weeks until the contest closes on Sept. 29. The approximate retail value of the prizes is $14,872 each, based on two coffees per week for 50 years, plus $3,432 for taxes. Winners get the prize in the form of a check for $14,372 and a $500 Arch Card.
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win, but you will need to follow McDonald’s or allow direct messaging if you entered over social media so that you can be notified (this should happen within two days of the drawing, and you’ll have 24 hours to respond).
What kind of good deeds qualify for a nomination? Pretty much anything you can think of! As long as you believe the person you’re nominating deserves free coffee, you can nominate them.
Just make sure you have your nominee’s permission if you’re entering the contest on social media and want to tag them. You’ll also need to make sure your social accounts are public so McDonald’s can see your post.
Do you know any “brew-gooders” who could use free McCafé for life? Here’s your chance to recognize them!
