The Waco City Council gave an initial approval to allow bike sharing companies to Waco on Tuesday.
In the City Council meeting, the vote was unanimous upon first reading the ordinance.
Downtown Waco is one of the areas considered for the bike share program. Waco City Council needs to vote for approval one more time before the ordinance becomes official.
