According to a report by On3, Shay will be on the offensive staff in College Station. Shay is an Illinois-native and started his coaching career before graduating in 2013.
Shay came to Kentucky and was promoted to tight ends coach in June 2025. Now he'll be working a fourth SEC program in six years, come 2026.
