LACY LAKEVIEW, Texas (KXXV) — Former Mexia head football coach Aaron Nowell has confirmed with 25 News that he is the new defensive coordinator for Connally High School.
Nowell took over head coaching and athletic director duties in 2022 for Mexia ISD after the head coach stepped down. Originally he was going to resign in 2022 before deciding to remain with the Blackcats in 2023.
