WACO, Texas (KXXV) — The Baylor Bears face off against the Auburn Tigers at McLane Stadium in its season opener Friday night.

First Quarter Highlights

Baylor was up 3-0 after their first possession, with Connor Hawkins making a field goal at 56 yards.

Auburn's Hudson Kaak makes a punt for 40 yards, but Baylor wide receiver Josh Cameron makes a fair catch at Baylor's 35 yard line.

Sawyer Robertson threw a 57-yard pass to Kole Wilson for a first down, but the Bears could not make it to the end zone, ending their second possession with an incomplete pass to Michael Trigg.

Auburn gained some momentum with a 26-yard pass from Jackson Arnold to Malcolm Simmons for a first down.

Tigers quarterback Jackson Arnold made the first touchdown of the game, running 24 yards to the end zone with 34 seconds left in the first quarter.
