MISSION, Texas (KXXV) — The ashes of U.S. Navy sailor Angelina Resendiz will be laid to rest on Friday, Oct. 31, on what would've been her 22nd birthday.
Resendiz's mother, Esmeralda Castle, tells 25 News that a ceremony of remembrance and final rest will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas.
All veterans and community members are welcome to attend.
