Famed Food Network chef Anne Burrell died by suicide, acute intoxication

ABC News confirmed that the cause of death for celebrity chef Anne Burrell was suicide.

The investigation by the chief medical examiner's office of New York concluded that the cause of death was acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine, and that the manner of death was suicide.

Burrell died on June 17 in her Brooklyn home.

She is survived by her husband Stuart Claxton, his son Javier, her mother, sister and brother.
