UPDATE

In a story 25 News first broke this morning, Waco PD has identified the man found in the Brazos River Friday morning.

He's been identified as 32-year-old Lee Murrow, and was reported missing by Bellmead Police Department.

An autopsy has been ordered pending cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL STORY

Waco Police recovered a body Friday morning from the Brazos River in Cameron Park.

Police scanners dispatched officers to the 2700 block of Cameron Park Drive on a water rescue.

Authorities said a couple walking along the park in the area of the Redwood Shelter discovered a man floating in the water.

The investigation is ongoing.
