The Lorena Fire Department says all southbound lanes have reopened after a hazard caused traffic backup earlier Monday afternoon.
ORIGINAL 4:47 P.M.:
Lorena Fire Department is on scene of a road hazard causing a traffic backup on the southbound side on Interstate 35 at mile marker 323.
LFD says motorists should use extreme caution, slow down, and to be prepared for lane restrictions or delays in the area, and consider an alternate route until the hazard is clear.
The traffic alert was put out around 4 p.m. and LFD will provide updates as conditions change.
