WOODWAY, TX — A single mother of four is asking for the community’s help in finding the person or people responsible for setting fire to her property.

Veronica Davis said that on Thursday at 3 a.m, she woke to her back patio on fire. The very next night at approximate the same time, the Davis family woke to first responders extinguishing a fire in the family's minivan and on backyard trampoline.

Waco Fire officials explained that the fires are currently under open investigation.

"I'm still staying here, I mean I could probably stay at my mom's house our something, but this is my home," said Davis.

Though at this time, she has removed her children from the property in fear of their safety.

"I'm just afraid that that person is gonna come back and I don't want them to be here until I feel like its safe to bring them home," said Davis.

At this time a GoFundMe has been created to support the family has they currently are without transportation.

"I don't get sleep because every hour I'm constantly waking up thinking 'am I gonna be on fire when I wake up?' because the next thing to burn would be my home. I don't see how you can do this to someones home to someones vehicle, especially someone with small children," said Davis.
