HEWITT, TX — The Hewitt Fire Department is now accepting seal bids for a fire truck.
The department is auctioning up a 1993 E-1 International 50-foot Aerial. It has 12,706 miles on it, 1,752 hours and has a 500-gallon water tank 1250 GPM single stage Hale pump. The fire truck also has 2 cross lays and holds 800 feet of 5-inch supply line.
The fire department will be taking sealed bids until April 24. It will be sold as is and will be available for viewing at the Hewitt Fire Department, located at 100 Patriot Court in Hewitt.
