Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for fallen Falls County K-9 Deputy Matt Jones, who was killed while helping another vehicle on Highway 6 near the Falls County line Friday.
A memorial service for Deputy Jones will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 18, at the First Woodway Baptist Church, located at 101 North Ritchie Road in Woodway.
His burial is scheduled at the Gerald Cemetery, located at 3782 Bode Road, near Elm Mott, Texas.
Visitation for the public will be at the Lakeshore Funeral Home, located at 5201 Steinbeck Bend Drive, in Waco. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th and Thursday, October 17th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
