WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department said that a credit card skimmer was found inside a fuel pump at 825 W. Waco Dr. at the Alon.
The skimmer was found by a fuel pump technician who was working on the pumps. While he was there, he checked all of the pumps and removed the skimmer that was found. They are now safe for use again.
Investigators aren’t sure yet how long the skimmer has been on the pump or how many people have been affected by the skimmer.
If you have purchased fuel at this Alon recently, double check you bank statements and make sure your purchases are correct.
