KILLEEN, TX — Killeen ISD has postponed the May 2 elections until November 3 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
A $265 million bond was set to be voted on during the May 2 election. It will now be placed on the November 3 ballot.
All candidates for the Board of Trustees positions will remain on the November 3 ballot. The filing deadline will not reopen.
All early voting applications will be counted towards the November election.
The voter registration deadline is October 5. The deadline to submit an application for ballot by mail is October 23, and the period for early voting is October 19 through October 30.
