WACO, TX — Waco Police are investigating after a 50-year-old man was found shot.

Waco Police officers were sent to the area of Forrest and East Clay around 7:30 p.m. Sunday in response to a man that had been shot.

When officers arrived, they located a 50-year-old man that had multiple gunshot wounds.

That male was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

A vehicle believed to have been involved was later located and several people were interviewed, but police say no arrests were made.

Later in the night, officers received a call of a discharge of a firearm in the area of N 19th and Homan Ave.

While officers were in the area investigating this discharge, a vehicle matching the suspect description for that incident was located and stopped.
