BELLMEAD, TX — A man was arrested and charged after police said a man went to a woman's home and waved a knife at her Monday afternoon.
According to Bellmead police, a 46-year-old woman called police to report a man at her home waving a knife at her, and asking if an unknown man lived there.
The incident occurred at 3 p.m. in the 1000 block of Victoria Street in Bellmead.
The suspect, who was identified as 26-year-old Dylan Liendo from Bellmead, was arrested after police said he left the residence and was seen by officers in the 900 block of Victoria Street.
While speaking with the officers about what happened, the victim was visibly upset and crying.
According to the victim, she felt threatened by his actions and feared for her safety.
Liendo was arrested and transported to the McLennan County Jail.
He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $10,000.
