TEMPLE, TX — The Extraco Banks located on S 31st street in Temple made a $1,000 donation to McLane Children's Medical Center summer camps on Friday.
The check will help cover the costs of their summer camps for patients.
Each camp provided through the hospital is free for patients and families.
Those involved say each donation makes a big impact.
"So it is so amazing to have community partners like Extraco donating significant amounts of money to our camp programs, because like I said before, if we didn't have their partnership then we wouldn't be able to offer this unique opportunity to our children and families at no cost to them," said Child Life Manager Kelly Wagner.
