SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20...
* AFFECTED AREA...For today, all of West Central Texas. For
Saturday, areas south of Interstate 20.
* TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM CDT this
evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 10 AM to 9 PM
CDT Saturday.
* WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. For Saturday,
west to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 6 percent today and 15 to 20
percent on Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of
