ARLINGTON, TX — The Texas Rangers are reportedly considering a "fan friendly" menu with reduced prices of concession items at the new park, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The Star-Telegram says the menu would include a reduction in price for ballpark classics.

The move would follow in the footsteps of the Atlanta Falcons. When the team moved to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2017, a "fan friendly" menu was introduced. This included reductions for things like hot dogs and soft drinks, which were sold for $2, and peanuts and nachos, which were sold for $3.

However, Texas Rangers Executive Vice President of Business Operations Rob Matwick told the Star-Telegram they are in preliminary discussions with the team's concessions provider on the fan friendly menu.

"No decisions have been made yet, but we are looking at it as an option," Matwick said.

The Texas Rangers will move to a new stadium in 2020.
