The San Antonio-based chain H-E-B was named America’s fourth favorite grocery store, according to customer data science company Dunnhumby.
The report surveyed about 7,000 U.S. households online to compare 56 different chains from around the country. Trader Joe’s ranked first for the second year in a row.
Costco was second and Amazon was third.
“Regional retailer H-E-B, based in Texas, thrives on the Quality it offers its Customers. Which places it in the First Quartile. Overall, right up there with non-traditional grocery retailers Trader Joe’s, Costco and Amazon,” the report said.
H-E-B focuses on private label, quality in the right places and delivering on retail basics to run a smooth, cost-effective retail operation.
