A new ALDI grocery store is set to open next week in Killeen.
The grocery chain will open its doors to its new location on West Stan Schlueter loop on Dec. 6. ALDI is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony opening day at 8:25 a.m., followed by a golden ticket giveaway.
The first 100 customers will receive gift cards. Shoppers can also sample ALDI brand foods and enter to win a year supply of ALDI’s produce.
The new location is part of the company’s $3.4 billion expansion. Executives plan to open 2,500 stores and 25,000 new jobs nationwide by 2022.
