The McLennan County Sheriff's Office said they seized $10,000 worth of counterfeit money on Nov. 20.

They said they received a report of a man finding a $100 on the side of the road near 1484 Mexiner Rd. The man was jogging when he found the money.

He suspected the money was counterfeit when he saw Chinese characters on the bills and that all the bills had the same serial number. The sheriff's office said these bills can be ordered from the internet.

They have turned the case into to the Secret Service.
