Affidavit: Killeen high school student picks up, slams teacher trying to break up argument

A Killeen Independent School District teacher was picked up and slammed to the ground while trying to break up an argument between two students. 

According to the affidavit, the Gateway High School teacher suffered injuries to his head, thigh and back when he was slammed to the ground by 17-year-old Sir Vaughn on Oct. 22.

Killeen ISD police reviewed surveillance video of the classroom and arrested Vaughn for assault of a public servant on Nov. 6.

Vaughn was brought to the Bell County Jail with a bond of $100,000.
