The City of Lampasas is working to make the internet better for its citizens.

From internet speeds being too slow to being totally kicked off the internet to high internet costs, citizens in Lampasas are not happy with their services.

The Lampasas Economic Development Corporation has developed a short survey to help with the problem.

The survey is designed to discover the needs of the community and to help bring better business to the area.

"Internet today, most businesses see it as, as important to them if not more than their water and electricity so we were losing employees from our local businesses and we were having trouble recruiting new business," Economic Development Director, Mandy Walsh said.

Walsh adds that anyone who lives or works in the city is invited to fill out the free survey.

It will be open through the end of the year.
