On Monday, the family of a murder victim hosted a vigil on his anniversary seeking justice in his case.

Waco Police said Tony DeAngelo Rivera was killed after a shooting in the 2300 block of Park Avenue on Oct. 29, 2017. Thus far, no arrests have been made in connection to the murder.

His mother, Michelle Andrade has tried to encourage people with information to come forward by putting a billboard and a sign at the Treasure City Flea Market.

On Monday, family members and friends of Rivera gathered at the Waco Suspension bridge to remember him and remind people about the unsolved murder.

The family of the 19-year-old read poems played music and held a moment of silence in his honor.

They describe him as someone with a passion for fishing who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
