Waco police have identified the victim in a shooting that left one dead and one injured Sunday night.

Police say 19-year-old Anthony D. Rivera was killed over the weekend after officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 2300 block of Park Avenue.

Around 9:30 p.m., authorities found blood and bullet casings there, and they determined at least one person was injured by gunfire and taken to the hospital.

As they were working the scene, police said multiple gunshots were heard coming from the area near 26th Street and Dutton Avenue. Officers found more bullet casings in this area, and say 20-year-old Manuel Segovia was shot in the arm.

While the officers were processing the two scenes, they were notified Rivera had died after being taken to Baylor Scott & White hospital. Segovia was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Waco police believe the shootings and scenes are related.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
