WOOD COUNTY, OH (WTOL) - A man already charged with felony abduction charges in Wood County was recently charged with sexual imposition and aggravated menacing.

Joseph Jones is standing trial for an alleged incident at the Meijer store in Bowling Green.

He also had two more charges in Toledo Municipal Court.

Jones was charged Tuesday after approaching a woman who was jogging in Ottawa Park.

Investigators say Jones told the woman he had been watching her for a few weeks, then took off her shoe and began massaging her feet and talking about her feet.

The woman told officers she was able to get away when a group of bikers rode by in the park.

Jones was also recently charged with sexual imposition for allegedly approaching a woman at a grocery store on Jackman Road in Toledo, grabbing her foot and saying, "wow, you have big feet."

The woman said she got away from Jones and hid in the back of the store until her husband came to pick her up. Police say this incident happened on June 23.

The incident in Wood County is the first time Jones has been charged with a felony in connection with his numerous sex charges.

Opening statements and witness testimony are expected to happen in court Wednesday.

Jones faces up to 5 years in prison in the abduction case.
