Teenagers smashed a van into a pot dispensary and stole oregano rather than marijuana.
The owner Native Roots, Kim Casey, told KKTV in Colorado Springs they don't put any real items up for display.
"Our product is never out," Casey said. "We have pre-rolled joints on display in our packaging in our display cases. We do not put actual medicated product in them, so we use oregano to simulate the cannabis."
The teens smashed the van through the front foyer of the business around 1 a.m. in front of several witnesses.
The van was left behind by the suspect, parked and still running. Police believe it was stolen.
While the suspects didn't get away with any marijuana, they caused thousands of dollars in damage to the store.
