Waco police are looking for two suspects that are “armed and dangerous.”
According to Waco police, 22-year-old Javon Lamont Arnett and 23-year-old Jared Jamal Mays were involved in the Dollar General call that happened on July 16.
Arnett was armed with a handgun and fought a Waco officer. Two other suspects fled with money and drugs. An AK-47 with a drum magazine was also recovered.
Mays eluded officers that afternoon and a woman was located hiding in a wooded area.
Waco police said the two suspects both have gang ties, numerous arrests and convictions for weapon offenses.
Arnett is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a public servant, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful carrying of weapons.
Mays is wanted for unlawful possession of a firearm, evading arrest, possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of weapons.
