With no more than a couple taps of a button, your entire shopping list will arrive at your doorstep.

Instacart is the latest on-demand app joining the Central Texas area. Starting Thursday, people in Waco, Temple, Killeen and Bryan will be able to use the mobile app to order products from H-E-B, Petco and Specs.

Instacart joins a growing list of mobile based businesses joining the area, in what experts call the "on-demand" economy. Not only do these businesses give more options to consumers, they can provide a boost to businesses. Instacart said they are planning to hire more than 150 people with their newest launch.

According to research from the Harvard Business Review, more than 22.4 million Americans use on-demand technology and spend over $57 billion a year. Several traditional brick and mortar stores are hoping to get into some of the convenience associated with online shopping. At the end of 2016, Wal-Mart added Curbside pick-up to several of their locations in the Central Texas area.

Instacart is offering a discount code for $20 off $35 using ABCWACO20 at checkout.
