College Station police are investigating an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that occurred early Sunday morning.
Police responded to the 300 block of Church Avenue just before 2 a.m.
Victims stated that they were walking through the parking lot at the location when they were approached by a man in a car, who threatened them with a knife and handgun.
The victims say that the man got out of his car and showed them the weapons.
The victims told police that they believe the man mistook them for someone else.
The victims fled the area and when police arrived, the man was no longer in the area.
The suspect is described as a 5’7” tall male with a beard and long hair pulled back into a pony tail.
The vehicle he was driving was described as being a white, 4-door compact sedan with damage to the body.
