Fort Hood soldiers sentenced during court-martials

A couple of Fort Hood soldiers were sentenced earlier this week in general court-martials on post.

On Monday, Spc. Curtis Davis was convicted of conspiracy, violating a lawful general regulation, false official statement, maiming, two counts of aggravated assault, obstruction of justice, wrongful discharge of a firearm, and unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon.

Davis was sentenced to be reduced to the grade of E-1, 141 months of confinement, and be dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Army.

Tuesday, Sgt. John George Lemon pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of a child. Lemon was sentenced to 10 years in prison, reduction to grade E-1, and to be dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Army.
