Officials are telling zone three residents they will have to wait six to eight weeks before they can return to their homes.
Neighbor Jean Smith told News Channel 25 that she has not seen her home since the night of the explosion.
"We have not been allowed in there, it's locked up. I have been told, and other people in the area have heard, we have no water, we have no power, we have no anything," said Smith.
The investigation is what is slowing down residents from returning to their homes. Officials said they want to make sure the area is safe before letting residents to see their property.
City council also said public water will not be in use for one to three weeks. They are advising for all residents to continue to boil water before use.
