COPPERAS COVE, TX — The Pink Warrior Angels of Texas are hoping to educate Central Texans about cancer resources through their annual dash and registration party.

On Sept. 28, the Pink Warrior Angels of Texas will host their 5th Annual Pink Warrior Dash at Copperas Cove City Park. The event brings hundreds of local cancer survivors and supporters together each year.

Representatives from the organization say the run/walk is an effort to educate Central Texans about cancer resources.

During the party, registration is officially opened. Registration fees are $25, and children up to age of 12 can participate at the reduced rate of $10. Each registration helps support a cancer survivor.

The team will host a registration party on August 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Copperas Cove Walmart, located at 2720 E Highway 190.

The event will feature the Harker Heights Crimson Bells at noon and a Polynesian dance performance at 12:30 p.m.

You can register by visiting the Pink Warrior Angels of Texas website or Facebook Page.

Pink Warrior Angels of Texas works to provide emotional support and direct financial aid to those who have been diagnosed with cancer.
