WACO, TX — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking down Waco Drive overnight.
At 3:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to East Waco Drive near the I-35 bridge after reports of a person being struck by a vehicle.
Police say a female walking down Waco Drive was hit by the vehicle and killed in the crash.
Officials are working to notify her next of kin before releasing her identity.
Waco police are still investigating the incident and crash reconstruction detectives assisted at the scene.
