WACO, TX — Bringing joy to the community for over 30 years, Pendley Party Productions and Rentals, like many other event business was hit hard by the pandemic.
"We had to let our employees go because we had no business," explained Paulette Pendley.
With many events and celebrations canceled or rescheduled due to the virus, Pendley devised a plan to continue celebrations, while also practicing social distancing.
Creating unique decor for parties for decades, Pendley explained she decided to create a new branch to the family business called Pendley Lawn Fairies.
“We’re going to sprinkle a little joy and happiness,“ Pendley said.
Her entire workforce is now back creating unique signs and decor to celebrate all of life milestones by decorating yards.
"We just want to continue that legacy of my company, bringing something different and unique to Waco,” Pendley said.
Graduations, birthdays, anniversary, baby showers, and more can now be celebrated, in an even more unique way.
“One of my employees of 17 years has done a lot of the work here tonight," Pendley said while pointing toward yards full of decor. "And she is amazing, I
just want to give a shout out to her because she is enjoying all of this, and it gives her something to do and we’re having a lot of fun."
"We always try to get in on something that that person is about, we make it about the person, and that is what makes it so fun,“ Pendley said.
