WACO, TX — How do florist flowers hold up against local favorite H-E-B?
25 News is conducting a test to see which Valentine's Day roses will last longer.
Roses cost $50 at a florist shop.
The instructions to keep those roses alive were:
- Take the roses out of the water every day and snip the stems
- Keep in a cool, not cold place
- Do not keep the roses under a vent
The H-E-B roses cost $13.88. The enclosed flower food was added to the water, and the stems were clipped.
