ALBANY, NY — New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced prisoners will be making hand sanitizer after coronavirus fears have lead to shortages.

Governor Cuomo said prisoners will be making 100,000 gallons of hand sanitizer each week.

The hand sanitizers will be used in schools, and other city and state properties.

The hand sanitizers will be about 75% alcohol, and “superior” and cheaper than what’s on the market, according to Gov. Cuomo.

The New York sanitizers will be called “NYS Clean.”
