HUNTINGTON PARK, CA — Authorities in California say a man was beaten and robbed of his entire life savings last week.
The attack happened outside of a bank in Huntington Park, California.
Francisco Cornejo recently sold his home and had just withdrawn $200,000 in cash.
"He came out of the bank. He just made a cash withdrawal and as soon as he came out, he was parked as closely as possible to the bank, knowing he was going to withdraw a large amount of cash. As soon as he got to his car, before he was able to get to his car, he was grabbed and beaten by an unknown person," said attorney Nathan Soleimani.
Huntington Police are investigating the robbery.
The FBI is also involved in the search for the person responsible.
