COLORADO (CNN) — A road in Colorado is closed and you can see why.

A massive rock slide produced two boulders, one which is said to be the size of a building.

The boulders struck Colorado's Highway 145 on Friday between Cortez and Tullride, destroying the full width of the highway pavement and leaving a trench about 8-feet across both lanes.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said it will have to blast the rocks into smaller pieces in order to move them off the highway.

There is no word on how long that process will take.
