The iconic tiny, green soldiers of your childhood will soon have an update!
The Plastic Army Women project says the BMC female toys will be ready to deploy in time for the holidays.
BMC Toys is already taking orders for them.
The female soldiers will come in 15 poses including captain and bazooka operator.
The first set is planned to ship in October.
This update is the result of the Plastic Army Women Project.
BMC Toys owner Jeff Imel says he was inspired after a 6-year-old girl named Vivian asked him to “make army girls that look like women.”
A Kickstarter campaign was started and paid for the design work.
Now, the toys will soon be ready for kids like Vivian.
