Coca-Cola has confirmed that they will not stop using single-use plastic bottles at the World Economic Forum, according to Business Insider.

The company said that they will keep the bottles as long as the consumers want the bottles.

"Business won't be in business if we don't accommodate consumers," she said. "So as we change our bottling infrastructure, move into recycling and innovate, we also have to show the consumer what the opportunities are. They will change with us."

Coca-Cola also announced that their long-term goal is to have all of its packaging made from at least 50 percent recycled material by 2030.

In a 2019 report by Break Free from Plastic, Coca-Cola was found to be the world's most polluting brand when it came to plastic waste.
