BRAZOS COUNTY — A 2-year-old girl who was found unresponsive in a family pool Friday afternoon has died, said Brazos County officials.
Officials said they received a 9-1-1 call at 4:47 p.m. that a family member had found the child in an unresponsive state in the family's pool.
The 2-year-old was then transported to the Emergency Room at Baylor Scott and White Hospital where she was treated by staff but later died from her injuries, said officials.
