Three local cities listed as the safest places to drive in Texas

Three cities in 25 News' viewing area were listed as the safest cities to drive in Texas for 2018.

College Station was listed as the 6th safest place to drive. Waco was listed as 16th, and Killeen was listed as 17th.

The report was created by Aceable. They assessed the state’s crash data, drinking and driving data, current driving laws, pending legislation and insights from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), addressing topics including:

Dallas is the most accident-prone area in all of Texas. They have 14.42 fatal car accidents per 100,000 residents.
