Power outages have been scheduled for parts of Robertson County and Limestone County in order to replace old equipment.
In a press release, Entergy Texas, Inc. said 150 employees will be deployed to "conduct a major upgrade to the substation serving the area, as well as upgrading 300 distribution transformers."
The upgrades will replace older equipment with "newer and more reliable equipment."
An outage is scheduled for Friday, October 25, 2019, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The outage will affect around 3,500 customers in the Hearne, Franklin, Calvert, Bremond and Kosse area.
A second outage is planned for November 9. Around 400 customers along Highway 190 and FM-50 in the Gause and Mumford communities will be affected.
