FALLS COUNTY — The Mooreville United Methodist Church is still giving, even after losing their sanctuary to an enormous fire on Feb. 7.
Thanking the ones who put out the fire that night, the church hosted a dinner for the ones who worked and their families. In all, nine fire departments helped that night.
After realizing that the building that caught fire could not be saved, fire crews worked to save the building next to it.
Without their second building saved, church members would not have any place to worship until rebuilding took place.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
