A man has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a woman in the parking lot of a Hillsboro Walmart.
According to the Hillsboro Department of Public Safety, around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, an arrest warrant was served on a subject who is the sole suspect of the shooting.
The warrant was served by the US Marshals in Waco at the Grove Apartments.
Authorities say the suspect is being processed at the Hill County Jail. Once arraigned on a murder charge, he will be identified.
The Hillsboro Department of Public Safety would like to send its condolences to the family of the victim, 27-year-old Rachel Marie Reeder of Fort Worth.
