HILL COUNTY, Texas (KXXV) — Multiple crews including the Texas Forest Service are currently on the scene of a "large wildland fire" in Hill County.
According to the Hill County Emergency Management Facebook page, more than thirty acres have burned as a result of a "massive prescribed burn" that broke containment.
It's reported there is no immediate threat to the public and the fire is currently contained.
Crews are expected to be on scene for awhile to perform an extensive overhaul.
