WACO, Texas (KXXV) — The Cameron Park Zoo turned to a popular 2004 movie to name its newest residents.
The zoo has welcomed four camels and two ostriches this month from West Texas Wildlife Preserve.
Check out their names:
Gretchen (two-year-old camel)
Karen (eight-year-old camel)
Regina (seven-year-old camel)
Cady (one-year-old female ostrich)
Aaron (one-year-old male camel)
Veronica (one-year-old camel)
Most of those names are inspired by the film "Mean Girls."
